    1. Debbie B s review, as usual, sums things up very tidily This novel focuses on the de Bourgh and Fitzwilliam families, their history and their present romantic and other entanglements Darcy, as a cousin to Richard and Anne, plays part here while his love life is on the fringes of this tale Mr Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet do come to an agreement and her father is petitioned successfully but that is a minor detail here As an aside, Mr Bingley and Jane Bennet also find things working out Anne finds p [...]

    2. He is not a lover who does not love forever EuripedesThis was the most unusual story I ve read in a while The style and way it was presented was so different, not unpleasant, but delivered in a way that was so unique At times it was a bit confusing and I would occasionally lose track of who was speaking I often lost who, what, when, where and half the time couldn t figure out why We were given hints but not a clear explanation or reason why something happened We start out in Kent at Rosings Park [...]

    3. Darcy and Elizabeth are relegated to supporting characters in a story where Anne de Bourgh, Lady Catherine, Colonel Fitzwilliam, Lord and Lady Matlock, the previous generation of Fitzwilliams and a mysterious past at Rosings are the primary focal points The time frame in relation to Pride and Prejudice is during Elizabeth s visit to Hunsford Anne de Bourgh comes across legal documents of her father s which lead her to decide the time has come to finally let Lady Catherine know that she will not [...]

    4. 5. What can I say LOVED IT I almost don t want to write a review I wanted to wallow in the good feeling I have from this love story We have villains, heroes, espionage, blackmail the list goes on Although the original cast of characters from Pride Prejudice are involved, Darcy, Elizabeth, Bingley, Lady Catherine, and Mr Mrs Collins , the story revolves mainly around Colonel Fitzwilliam and Anne de Burgh New characters are introduced and minor characters only mentioned in original canon are expanded [...]
