    1. So Mrs Calamari feels that her cats are her children Me too People ask me A LOT if I have children and when I say no they look at me with pitiful eyes However, I have fur kids And they are the best, even when they bring home dead mice or live birds and barf up hair balls. Some day I will probably have fur less children I m sure that I will love them, even though they will ask me for lots of money and pee on me and make my boobs saggy I ll probably get stretch marks too My sister did They were ver [...]

    2. Mrs Calamari moves into a new apartment on Monday with her seven cats The landlord, Mr Gangplank, told her no cats were allowed and must be gone by Sunday or something will happen Mrs Calamari begins disguising her cats, which are multiplying by the day On Wednesday her cousins visit, on Thursday her nieces and nephews, and on Friday Mrs Calamari s grandchildren arrive Mrs Calamari s aunts and uncles arrive on Saturday and Mr Gangplank takes everyone to the beach He wants to celebrate having no [...]

    3. The Cats of Mrs Calamari by John Stadler is a charming picture book for children between three and eight, although older children might enjoy reading it to younger friends or siblings Mrs Calamari has just moved into a new apartment and gotten settled in with what appears to be hundreds of cats Before she knows it her new landlord, Everett Gangplank, and his huge dog stop in to announce that he is making the building cat free Luckily, Mr Gangplank s glasses are missing, so Mrs Calamari convinces [...]

    4. I liked it, but it was too short The story is fun, but I m not sure if little children will like this one It isn t a story that will grab someone s attention and hold it The illustrations are simple, natural colours, nothing too spectacular I think it would be fun if it was hard to find out if the family of Mrs Calamari really where cats All in all, an okay children story.

    5. This is a good book for read aloud I would suggest this book for K 5 grade The language is simply, there is no hard pronounced words or long sentence that does not make sense This story is funny, because of the all different roles for cats, which is not possible in real life.

    6. This book was weird, kooky, and bizarre so, you know, pretty much perfect for a second grader to read on his own.
