    1. Just when I thought this series was going to have a hard time topping the book oneBAM Reconnaisance by brilliant author Aubrie Dionne does it Picking up the story of Andromeda and the colonization of Paradise 21, Nova Williams, Andromeda s over achieving nemesis, is still stinging from Andromeda s successes and how Sirius, Nova s chosen lifemate, is till trying to win back Annie s love When Nova finds a hovering alien ship, she is put in charge of a reconnaissance mission that may either save he [...]

    2. I would like to thank the author for providing me a copy of this book for an honest review. From what I ve read, this book picks up where the first book left off To me, this book can be read as a standalone The author did a great job in giving a story separate from that one but also giving info where needed to keep the reader up to speed with prior happenings Will I go back and read the first one Yes, because enough of that story is given, without giving too much, that it struck my interest immed [...]

    3. Nova Williams craves a lieutenant making mission, but this one mission threatens her entire world in Aubrie Dionne s Reconnaissance. The second book in the Paradise Reclaimed series, Reconnaissance picks up where Colonization left off, but with the new main character, Nova Williams A hard working, no nonsense young woman, Nova strives to be the perfect expedition leader, but everything that can go wrong will for her I love how Dionne chose Nova to tell the story and how the reader experiences Nov [...]

    4. 3 1 2 stars I wondered if I would enjoy Reconnaissance because it s about Nova, a character I really didn t like in the first book, Colonization but I did end up enjoying it We get a different perspective on who Nova is and the reasons behind some of her behavior She makes some nice changes by the end as well The aspect of the book that I liked the most was meeting the creepy crawly aliens Sometimes they seemed intelligent, which of course was a good thing that added danger and tension to the st [...]

    5. I was given a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.Nova Williams is a selfish person who wants everything and everyone for herself She is jealous of Andromeda Barliss, Commander Barliss great granddaughter When they first arrived on Paradise 21 Andromeda saved the lives of everyone on the ship by informing them of the poisonous pods on the planet Ghost aliens told Andromeda about the pods and how they destroyed their race Nova wanted to be the one to save the colony and ma [...]

    6. This is a book I won in the Giveaways Hopefully I phrased that right I am in no way being paid to review this Just graced with a good read Which I m than happy to review I have since finished the book I also stand by my review It can almost be a standalone book in the way that it was written I m enjoying watching as her writing matures It s not coming across as childish or repetitive So I recommend this book for anyone looking for a good new scifi novel that s young adult in nature.I m almost d [...]

    7. Striving to be better than her genes, Nova Williams pushes herself past her limits She missed out on a grand promotion because her rival stole her glory and Sirius, the man she loves Yet when an alien ship comes to their new planet, Nova heads a team to find out if the visitors are peaceful or not This is her one chance to make everything right, and she isn t going to mess it up Sirius is assigned to be her pilot, and she must learn to work with him no matter her feelings Trapped on the strange [...]

    8. You can read an excerpt at my blog, Go Here to read itI really love Aubrie s writing and the sci fi books that she has written I have read her New Dawn series, which actually ties into this one, now its not necessary to read all of them to read this series, but it does help on the history, but like I said, you do not have to.I do recommend you reading the first book in this series however, as this 2nd book starts off right where the first stopped Unlike many of the other books in the previous se [...]

    9. This is Nova Williams story from book one I did not like her in book one she was a complete bitch to Annie and you all know I loved Annie we are able to see and understand why Nova is the way she is she is from a dysfunctional family and she works exceptionally hard for her achievements This still does not excuse her bitchy nasty behaviore grew on me the I read and the bottom line is she is just trying to find love and be loved in equal measures Really and truly who doesn t The colony is under [...]

    10. Reconnaissance begins once again with the colonization of Paradise 21 Nova Williams who is Andromeda s rival, is still upset over Andromeda s success She finds an alien ship hovering over the planet and is put in charge of a reconnaissance mission. That s the only piece of data I will give you because I simply hate spoilers But trust me you are going to want to grab a copy of book 2 after reading book 1 As in the first book we again have a wonderfully built world With a planet so vibrant you may [...]

    11. Reconnaissance is book two in the Paradise Reclaimed series, it picks up from where Colonization left off still in Paradise 21 I actually liked Nova in this book, where I didn t in the last one Mainly focusing on Nova on this book but still the old characters are in it too Again this is a fast pacing book with plenty happening and it gives the history of Nova s life which does explain why she is the way she is.Aubrie Dionne penned a fantastic read with great characters and I really did love this [...]

    12. Great follow up to Colonization I loved the chance to get to know Nova, and to discover that she wasn t quite the person she appeared in the first book It think it takes great skill to take a character who we didn t like in book 1, and turn her into someone we identify with A really enjoyable read This author is on my automatic buy list.

    13. Tired of the medal ceremony and out of her mind jealous, Nova Williams goes outside and witnesses an alien spaceship The colonists are once again in danger of an alien species A reconnaissance team is quickly put together for first contact and to learn as much as possible The team must save themselves and protect the colony.Much like the first book in this series, this sequel was a warp speed fast read Slow reader that I am, I still atonishingly breezed through this in a day The action and suspe [...]

    14. Rating Clarification 3.5 5See of my reviews Moosubi Reviews I m sure we ve all read about that one bitchy girl or character in the novel that s just there to make the protagonist absolutely miserable Usually I end up just feeling pretty indifferent about her, wanting to slap her silly or feel slightly annoyed at the author for using yet another clich Remember Nova, who always seemed to hate Andromeda no matter what she did Well, in RECONNAISSANCE, instead of staying in Andromeda s head, you re [...]

    15. Was originally posted on Paranormal Sisters paranormalsistersI must clearly be crazy to read this book Why Because I m arachnophobia, which means I m afraid of spiders deathly afraid Yet here I am, reading a book that contains giant ass spiders and loving it Haha Though the giant alien spiders aren t just that, spiders, they re mutant spider bodies are combined with another element and it was quite the surprise Loved it You re probably wondering why I read a book that has giant ass spiders writt [...]

    16. Reconnaissance begins at the award ceremony However, it is not Andromeda we follow in this story it s Nova They survived the microbes but these poor survivors from Earth can t seem to get a break This time it s Nova that makes the discovery. This story goes into depth about Nova s life, and even while still in the beginning, you begin to understand why she s pushed herself all those years and why she resents Andromeda so much If the reader disliked Nova in Colonization, they ll have an annoying f [...]

    17. If you haven t read the first there is a brief little bit at the beginning of the book, and throughout, explaining what happened However, there isn t enough to really go into the relationship between Andromeda and Sirius, so I definitely recommend reading the first before delving into this one. That said, if you have read the first but it s been awhile, Aubrie does have bits and pieces that will help jog your memory I did not have to go back and read book one and it has been a few months since I [...]

    18. This was an amazing sequel The story has a lot of classic science fiction elements paired with a great cast of main characters Book one flows directly into book two with a shift in perspectives from Andromeda to Nova rivals since school There is a hint of a love triangle but it dissolves very quickly and is of a school age crush finally ending than anything. Most of the story takes place on the alien ship that Nova has discovered hanging out nearby These aliens are not nice creatures They were w [...]

    19. Aliens cause trouble,so Nova,Sirius s life mate,is going to a mission to save the day, will it save her love life too I honestly didn t like Nova in the first book, she was a cocky, arrogant girl, not very likeable,But in this book I really related to her,she is realistic than Andromeda, she works hard to get what she wants and doesn t think anything is granted. The plot isn t much different, except there is a bit action in this book, yet, this book is so much better than the first book, and I really l [...]

    20. It is the mark of a great writer to make me dislike a character so much in one novel and then understand that person in the next Great work, as always I can t seem to get enough of Ms Dionne s novels I highly recommend her work.
