    About Author

    1. As far back as I can remember I have read every book I could get my hands on I guess that it is only natural that I wanted to be a writer as well I am sure that I drove my parents crazy, reading or writing using the light from my flashlight into the wee hours of the morning It would be foolish to think that they didn t know exactly what I was doing As I am now a published author I can gladly say that their patience has paid off My husband, Don, has also been a large supporter of my writing, whether it be long periods of shutting myself away to work on an idea or writing the details to a dream that I had before I forgot it all in hopes that it would evolve into a novel It took me nearly five years to complete my first book and he has been there throughout, always ready for me to bounce ideas off of Our children, Austin, Lauren, and even little Allison are always interested in my writing or in what stage of publishing I am in I think they are just as excited about this as I am They are each so precious to me and I thank God everyday for my family. We love the small town life here in Our Neck of the Woods , Texas My husband and I own an Air Conditioning company so when I am not writing I can usually be found there, answering phones, and filing paperwork We also enjoy traveling, playing golf and going to the movies.
