    2. Coming from a unix background, I found there to be many books that cover various Windows programming topics, but few that actually cover the intricasies of the VC IDE and debugger That it also covers many of the VC specific programming topics was a huge plus This book was just what I was looking for.

    4. This was the worst programming book that I have ever purchased It did not go into any detail of any of the topics it covered It barely touched on anything Don t waste your money on this piece of garbage.

    5. Some books are difficult to read, some books are easy to read This one is easy, but it hardly teaches you anything it may give you overview of what Visual C has to offer But to learn how to actually do it, you have to have another book Don t waste your money on this book.
