Lumbini Hokke Hotel Nepal


The Lumbini Hokke Hotel is located on the premises of the Lumbini Master Plan in Lumbini, where the Shakymuni Buddha was born. It began its operation on 10th January 1991 under Japanese management in order to provide the best comfort and services to all tourists from all over the world. The Hotel was established by Japan’s Hokke Club Ltd; a chain of hotels with cent percent investment in accordance with agreement with Lumbini Development Trust.

MAYADEVI TEMPLE

The Mayadevi temple and the tank nearby are part of the sacred complex. There are two Beautiful panels in the temple. The older one in stone and the other in marble Both panels show Mayadevi(Lord Buddha's mother)

THE SACRED TANK

Just outside The temple is tank whose water glistens in the faint sun, the gentle breeze creating endless ripples. Here Queen Mahamaya had her before the birth of Lord Budda, and it was also here that prince Siddartha had his first purifactory bath.

THE BIRTH OF SIDDHARTHA

The attendants sing prayers as the earth in blessed with prince siddhartha's birth.

RUPANDHEI PILLAR

Three hundred years after the Mahaparinirvana, Emperor Ashoka visited Lumbini and erected a pillar. This pillar though damaged, still remains at the site.
